Long Term Food Gardens with Tiger Brands

10 short-term food garden projects supported by Tiger Brands and Food and Trees for Africa have come to an end. We are happy with their progress, which will see their gardens go through the winter. We have encouraged the gardeners to apply for further further support.

On the other hand, the 7 long-term projects are still continuing and are seeing infrastructure improvements.

Thulani Dlamini Homebased Care Centre just completed installing their fence and St John the Divine is looking forward to their irrigation being installed. FTFA and Tiger BrandsBrands will continue supporting the long-term projects into summer and ensure their sustainability.

This forms part of Tiger Brands’ long term support for community centres through food gardening projects, Trees for Homes distributions, and gardens for homes support.
